I have recently entered in the Kodi world!
I installed Kodi Isengard on a PC with OS Windows 7.
I do not understand why the add on MP3 Stream does not work.
When I try to select one of many options (search song, album search, etc. ..), an error message in Kodi.log log is created.

I have setup a Raspberry Pi with Kodi, Party Mode and the PartyModeAutostart add-on, however I would like Part Mode to startup with the media info video which shows the album art, now playing and coming next?

I have tried looking around but don't seem to be able to find the answer?

I would then change the PartyMode rules so that only tracks with a rating greater than 'X' are included in future?

I am in the proscesss of making my own build and i can't get any of the music addons that i have installed to work, I am using sub menus, all the video addons work fine, any help would be great.

since couple of months on fresh kodi 15 install i get

add-on is incompatible or has been marked broken in repository
would you like to disable it on your system


what trigger this message, is there an option in advancesettings.xml where i can disable or put as default "yes" on start up ?

i know the message is only temporary. other plugin may have same problem in future, so wondered if i could auto do this in advancesettings.xml or somewhere else ?

Been using the Soma FM addon for a couple of years.
However, it seems to no longer work.

Using addon version 1.01 which seems to have been the last release over a year ago.

all links giving the popup error message "can't find the next item to play"

is the addon dead? Not being developed any more?

Somewhat new to Kodi, but do have it working on an Amazon Fire Stick and have also installed 16.0 on my Galaxy S5. On the Galaxy S5, I can get MP3 Streams to stream music, but whenever I try to download a song, I immediately get an "MP3 Streams Error", check log for details. Any idea how to fix this. When I've searched, all I find is people that can't get music to stream. That works, just the download won't.

I am looking for a VGM player for Kodi, but so far i haven't managed to find anything.

VGM is support for various chip music formats like SNES, NES, Gameboy, Master System, etc.

Is there such a plugin? If not, is there a way i could use my Winamp setup through Kodi (since i have a vgm plugin there)?

How do I add favourites in Tuneinradio ?

When I add to Kodi Favourites it says "unable to add station to Kodi favourites".

I am using Kodi 15.2 and Tuneinradio version 3.0.0

Hello, I noticed that Shoutcast2 is not working properly lately on my Android Kodi devices such as Amazon Fire TV and GBOX MX2 and tablets, etc. I was using the latest nightly builds as well as the official Kodi 16 release. Shoutcast2 acts up throwing errors when trying to connect to station streams now and just hangs. Sometimes it will connect okay and play a station stream but if I try to change stations several times, it throws an error and stops playing music. Errors say look at the log and/or Network Error. Nothing is wrong with my LAN nor ISP connectivity. Is anyone else experiencing this issue with Shoutcast2 now? Is there a work around or fix that anyone knows of?

Is there an option that allows you to see Artist Fantart, instead of the default Visualization during playback? I feel like at one point in the past I was able to do this, but now I can't figure out how to get it back

Looking for an add-on to solve the following error;

Sorry for the newbie question but I recently installed Pandoki on an Android TV Box. I added a menu shortcut to launch it and it works fine. But I can't seem to end it or stop it, even when I launch another application. I can't seem to activate any menus in the app where there might be controls to pause or stop it. How can I stop the app other than going into App manager and Force Stopping it?

Hi, I have lots of multi-artist albums which have split in the "album" view by album+artist, so instead of seeing the album once, I'm seeing it as many times as there are different artists.

Is there a way to suppress the secondary split, and simply leave Kodi displaying albums by album name alone? I've had a look at the guides, but nothing is leaping out at me.

The ProgStreaming website is a great place to find new progressive rock music, and I made this addon to be able to use it from within Kodi.



To help remember which albums you have listened to there is 'Like' and 'Hate' options in the context menu. The path to the favorites file containing these votes can be changed in settings. A location shared by other Kodi installations is supported:



There is also an option to refresh the album list (it is automatically updated once every day), and you can switch between the ProgStreaming and the ProgStreaming Classic sites

Please keep in mind that I'm not a programmer, and this is my first Kodi addon, and my first Python script.

I had Music box and MP3 Streams installed and working perfectly. I was able to download, search, etc. All of a sudden a few days ago they all stopped working. I've installed others since and they don't work properly. Everything else is fine (video & program addons ). Any help please. Thanks.

hi can anyone help it seems since i updated kodi today everything except xmbc karaoke will work. ive tried finding the karaoke add on enable in system under music and even put the settings on advanced and expert but still no option? any help would be greatly appreciated

Very new to Kodi but I have put together two Addons.

They add a "Search for" button on the context menu when you look at music tracks they simply pass % and then the Artist or Track Title to Add-on:Global_Search (wiki)

I've been using these myself for a few days now and have found it really opens up your music library as you can quickly flick to all tracks from that artist on a mixed album or find versions of a track by other artists. This is already possible using the search direct or going through the artist filters but seen as the information is on screen it takes two clicks to get to the tracks directly from any track
